River Chase Equestrian Center is a premier hunter/jumper boarding and training facility in Aldie, Virginia, set among the rolling fields and foxhunting heritage of Loudoun County. Our standard begins with our founder.

Tom Navarro, our Founder & Head Trainer and horsemanship educator, brings more than four decades in the horse industry across Virginia, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. What sets Tom apart is his three years as an equine surgical anesthesia and veterinary technician at a referral practice — induction, patient monitoring, recovery, catheterization, radiography, and post-operative care — clinical experience that informs the daily standard of care for every horse on the property. As owner of River Chase Farm LLC — an 80+ horse operation that has produced a sponsored VHSA-rated show series for seven consecutive years — and former Professor of Horsemanship at George Mason University, he sets a standard few can match.

His work is rooted in career-long relationships with leading professionals including Lendon Gray, George Morris, Conrad Schumacher, Michael Poulin, Joe Fargis, and Norman Dello Joio.
