Training Services

River Chase Farm brings together over 50 years of combined experience in riding instruction and horse shows.  River Chase Farm continues to offer top notch riding instruction in a comfortable atmosphere for our Junior and Adult riders and many of our students are competitive in the VHSA and USEF Horse Shows.  We have a team of professional instructors available to provide something for everyone from the serious competitor to the weekend hobbyist who wants to improve their riding.  We continue to offer flexible lesson times and top quality horses at reasonable rates.  Private and Group lessons are available for students at least 5 years old.

Students are expected to arrive in time to groom and tack their horses and to care for the horses when the lessons are finished.  For those who are unable to prepare and put their mounts away independently, private or semi-preview lessons are provided.  We have a lot of fun with the great group of kids and adults who come out to take and watch the lessons.  We would love for you to join our "horse-crazy family"!

Horse Exercise and Horse Training Services are also available.

Hourly
Group, half hour private, full hour private.
Monthly Block lesson:
Group, half hour private, full hour private.

Block Lessons are for one calendar month.  The Student is guaranteed 4 lessons per calendar month (one lesson per week), with missed lessons to be made up within the calendar month.
An Evaluation Lesson is to be taken prior to the Student's enrollment in a Lesson Package. This evaluation is designed to establish the rider's knowledge and skill level for placement in the school program and horse assignment.

Exercise Services:
This service is for a horse owner who wishes to have their horse exercised but not formally trained. Exercising can include longeing or informal hacking rides.

Training Services:
This service is for a horse owner who wishes to have periodic assistance with the training progress of their horse. These rides are more formal and focused on meeting goals in the horse/owner training.
